• End Date: Late July/Early August
• Monday-Friday 7:20am-4:00pm
• $16.50 per hour

Furniture Inspection & Setup:

• Inspect student housing furniture (beds, mattresses, desks, chairs, wardrobes, etc.) for quality and ensure it meets University standards
• Assemble and disassemble furniture using tools such as wrenches and mallets
• Arrange furniture in rooms per setup requirements for student move-in and campus events

Repairs & Warehouse Work:

• Repair furniture using basic hand tools (impact drills, screwdrivers, hammers, staple pullers, etc.)
• Load and unload furniture parts 
• Assist with periodic furniture replacement and refurbishment projects

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with a designated partner throughout the summer
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team and managers to stay on schedule

• Strong attention to detail to ensure furniture quality standards are met
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform repetitive bending and lifting
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Basic knowledge of or willingness to learn how to use tools like mallets, wrenches, drills, and screwdrivers
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
