About the Role:
Iowa Home Consulting is looking for experienced tradesmen who take pride in their work and show up ready to get the job done right. This full-time role is for someone with strong skills in carpentry, flooring, painting, or general home renovations who can handle complex projects with confidence and care.

You’ll take on higher-level jobs, solve problems on the fly, and deliver quality work that lasts. We want professionals who are serious about their craft and want to grow with a team that values trust, consistency, and doing things the right way.

Typical Projects May Include:

Deck rebuilds and structural repairs
Interior and exterior painting or staining
Door, trim, and window replacement or repair
Kitchen and bathroom updates (e.g., vanities, cabinetry, tile work)
Flooring installation or repair
Siding or shed repairs

Responsibilities:

Lead or assist in skilled home improvement projects
Execute jobs to a high standard with minimal supervision
Coordinate with teammates and project leaders on scheduling and tasks
Help mentor junior handymen and share trade knowledge when appropriate
Maintain a professional, client-focused approach

Requirements:

2+ years experience in skilled trades or home renovation
Strong carpentry, painting, or finish work background preferred
Ability to manage tools and materials for each project
High attention to detail and quality
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
